Mesopotamian Summer

A Season of Reflection, Dialogue and Deliberation in support of You are invited to participate in a Season of reflection, dialogue and deliberation on Mesopotamian Summer - that will begin at the moment of the upcoming Summer Solstice - Sunday June 20, 2004 at 8:57 PM - EST
Mesopotamian Summer is being held in support of the New Eden Project ant its goal of restoring the Southern Marshes of Mesopotamia - http://www.edenagain.org - once rich and fertile marshes that have been decimated over the past tweny some years - through a combination of Saddam Hussein's drainage schemes - devised to destroy the sustainable communities of Marsh Arabs - and massive upstream dam projects - in Tureky, Syrian and central and northern Iraq.
The marshland area was the home of the cradle of civilization - going back to Sumerian' times, with its great cities such as 'Ur - and have hosted a sustainable water-based culture that stretches back more than 7,500 years.
Please visit and participate in development of the parallel Mesopotamian Marshlands: Betwen the Rivers - A Cradle of Civilization - wikibook / free online encylopedia - see http://www.mesopotamian-marshlands.net

The Bohm Dialogue, especially Collective Reflection has significance for me in terms of artistic critique and dialogue.

If one wanted to connect this to Jungian thought I'd relate to that.
