This title is reminiscent of a project being worked on in Montgomery County, Maryland in 1998, based on The Asset Approach, in which high-school kids went out into the community to find the places and services available that were supportive of their well-being, that would "keep them out of trouble". The approach was outlined in a many-paged handout that I can't reproduce here, but which fortunately contained a still-valid link to The Search Institute (http://www.search-institute.org).
The basic idea was the identification of 40 "developmental assets" for kids, some individual, some familial, some community-related. The set is different for varying age ranges, but in a situation where there is a preponderance of these assets, healthy people result. An example is the set for adolescents, which can be found at http://www.search-institute.org/assets/forty.html .
If this isn't the scope of Community Asset Inventory, I assume someone will replace this with more relevant fare :-) If it is, perhaps someone with time can amplify upon it.
